I teamed up (wearing my Lonely Planet hat) with BBC Knowledge to help them promote some programming themed around ‘The World’
The result is a site in English and Polish which take readers on a trip around the world, helping them plan their travels according to their interests and passions. You’ll find my suggestions for the world’s best ancient sites, country retreats, underground experiences, activity trips, star-gazing, lost cities, train journeys, movie locations, cycling trips, relaxing, sea views and road trips. I’d love to know what you think.
Click here to take a tour.
Maybe the arrows up and down the side of each list could be a bit clearer maybe – the navigation is a wee bit tricky? Actually really like the homepage layout now – bit confusing at first but then intuitive. Clever bit of work.
Under “Lost Cities”
Cuidad Perdida, Colombia- The photo looks alot like Machu Picchu (Peru)
If its not, wow they are similar. Even has a “Little” Picchu!
Hi Cassandra,
Thanks for the heads-up. You’re right, it is MP. I’ll get it changed and update here once it’s been done.
Tom
Hi Cassandra – have a look at the post again, you should see Ciudad Perdida where it was meant to be all along.
Thanks,
Tom
